In the hilltop villages of Tuscany, as in the bustling piazzas of Rome and Florence, the white canvas under the stars is as much a part of our cultural heritage as pasta or opera. At Pieve Aldina, this tradition comes alive at the heart of our estate, in an atmosphere steeped in history and poetry.
Every Monday in July and August, the century-old walls of the Santa Maria Novella church become the screen for a convivial projection, where cinema, heritage and nature meet in the same breath.

Through a selection of inspiring and emblematic family films, Pieve Aldina celebrates cinema as an Italian art of living. From La Vita è Bella to Cinema Paradiso, a whole collective imagination is reborn under the Chianti sky: that of a sensitive, warm Italy, imbued with beauty and storytelling.
Comfortably seated in the garden, with a glass of local wine or homemade lemonade in hand, everyone can share this timeless moment. The experience is free, designed to bring travelers together around a shared emotion, in complete simplicity.
